NINA KAY - a multidisciplinary artist  exploring the tension between fragility and divinity. Working across  Art direction in the film industry, Music, Poetry, and Visual arts - My mediums are Painting, Collage, Print and Mixed media. My work moves through themes of the body, decay, birth, femininity, memory, identity, and transformation, existing as a space between beauty and discomfort through surreal imagery and intimate personal experiences. Creating visual rituals that question the sacred and the mortal, each body of work given as an artefact and an offering, inviting the viewer into an intimate confrontation with existence itself. My current art series, “Rooms,” began with dreamlike landscapes and nude figures exploring perspective and vulnerability, and has evolved into more personal spaces—like painting the room where my mother took her last breath—both my music and visual art are ways of processing grief, space, and the spiritual traces people leave behind.
